Ethan tugged at Milton with Minerva and what seemed like a couple other girls along with Professor Magnus, when he heard a loud, commanding voice. He threw a glance over his shoulder to see Professor Bellaire taking charge.. never was he so glad to see that woman. Once she shot that spell, it was much easier to take hold of his fellow Claw and he pulled at Magnus' order, tumbling backwards onto the ground as the boy was freed.

Instinctively throwing an arm over his head upon hearing the blast, he was thankful it was not needed as the Transfiguration professor's quick thinking provided them with a shield. His eyes then took a slow, disheartened look around the area.. he knew deep down that the monstrosity of a plant probably had to go that way.. but the rest of the plants? Such devastation..
