She grinned when Elise threw her her beater's bat; at least someone wanted her to have some other means of hurting this thing. Just as she got ready to give it a few whacks she saw the girl cast that fire spell--yes!! Her ideas were all being used in one way or another...wait....wait no....No Good Ravenclaw Captain was gonna burn too!!....though she wasn't so sure that was a bad thing so to speak, simply an annoying inconvenience seeing as it meant pretending to be sympathetic afterwards. Yeah...let's make sure he doesn't die...

Then the plant started fighting back, like throwing slaps and everything! Also, was it just her or was it making more and more vine thingys...Not. Good.

The words of the Headmistress alerted her to the fact that there were others now in the Greenhouse. More people!!! Headmistress Lady made sense. Casting was obviously not doing it any good. Professor Bentley really got her though when she told everyone to calm down and feed it meat. Right. 'Cause they hadn't tried that before. "Professor I think it prefers live prey..." Millie, Burbage, Runes guy and Milton. Coincidence, no way.

She hopped back, releasing the plant just in time to hear Cassia asking about her being so close. "Well we have to save Milton over there and so far this is the only way we can think of." If anyone had any better ideas she wouldn't oppose; so long as the plant still got hurt. "And nah," to answer her other question, "she was being pretty loud just now but she's helping so I guess she's fine." And with that she shrugged casually. The girl wasn't worth her time at the moment.

Her thoughts were cut short when she heard what sounded like the worst kind of noise...that really annoying kind that you used hexes on to make them go away. Her hands flew to her ears immediately in an attempt to block it out and it wasn't until after Kurumi silenced the mandrakes that she lowered them--

She flashed around to see Professor Magnus...and she was trying to give her a lecture--at a time like this?!?!? Nooooo! Luckily the woman was quickly distracted by all the happenings and gave up on this. It gave her a chance to slip over to Vivi and Scary Bat Girl who were helping Minnie pull the Captain out of the plants grasp. Lex pulled and pulled but it didn't seem to be working. Of course giving up wasn't an option so she was glad when Professor Bellaire instructed them to step back; meant she had a spell up her sleeve. Without questioning it she stepped back and tugged on Vivi's robe to do the same.

Her eyes went wide with admiration when the woman blew the plant to pieces...or well...the tendrils? Meh. "Neat!! We should find the rest of it and do the same!" and by 'we' she meant them because a spell like that was a recipe for disaster when tried by one Alexa Cambridge.

She coughed a bit and tried fanning away some of the dust. "Is everyone alright?" Except, you know, Professor Bentley...yeah...she didn't expect her to be alright for a good while after this...
