Oh Merlin. Holding a third lesson was a bad, bad idea.
Vanora stared and glared, glared and stared at the few who guessed that, and just to get her point across, she glared!stared some more! No dead creatures in her lessons. She would save that stuff for Lafay.
"No dead creatures." And since it seemed like everyone who wanted to answer did just that, plus the fact that she didn't want to hear anymore dead creatures answer, she continued.
"Good guesses, though." Expect the dead creature ones.
"But there actually is something inside of the bins." For those who said nothing. Anyway..
"Most of your guesses were fairly close, but Cassia and Genevieve were spot on. We're not going to be examining what's inside, however, but we will be working with it, and you'll all be making your own one of these.."
Pausing for just a moment, to build up the suspense, Vanora reached into her pocket and pulled out her very own
drawstring bag. She placed it on the middle of the long table for everyone to see.. just in case they couldn't before.
"I figured we would do something easy and fun for the last lesson, after everything that had happened, plus, these little bags sure do come in handy." Maybe if she made a bag big enough, she could put all her creatures inside of it and protect them FOREVER!!!
Or.. maybe not.
"The Mokeskin in your bins is already processed and charmed," and colored, so that no one complained about having a color they didn't like,
"so once you open the bin and touch the skin, it will know who its owner is. And it'll work accordingly. So, before we begin, and so we can get a little insight on how these bags work exactly; what is a moke?"
Now! No thing could widen the second-year's grin any more after her guess turned out to be correct. Cassia was getting the hang of those guessing questions at the beginning of each lesson. Well, at least in some subjects. Which was good. She was improving. Now back to the bins and what they contained. Though there were no creatures this lesson it still seemed to be an interesting one especially when Professor Newlin showed them that bag.
So they were going to make stuff from creatures skins Or something like that. That was promising.. And yup it was settled that they were gonna make bags! Cassia beamed already excited about the idea. She'd have a bag that she had made it herself! How cool was that.
So they start now? Apparently not. Another question...

It's said that bags made from mokeskin can fit for anyyyything."Well, something like that she doesn't have an accurate memory. And come to think of it it really is handy. Perhaps Cassia would put all her stuff in just in case the common rooms decided to lock up on her precious stuff again.Mhhmm..
