Well, there weren't that many people left in the department, so it was all hands on deck. Then again, that had been true even when there were enough people in the department. She guessed it could also be looked at as a punishment for the whole bookshop incident, but whatever.

"You're not early or late. People just haven't been showing up. I guess the thought of being drooled on by a zombie doesn't appeal to very many people." The last part she had meant as a joke, but when you really looked at it, it was true.
