It was nearly dinnertime and Vivi wasn't sure what Louisa had been doing out roaming the corridors and breaking things anyway. She should be in the dorm with Vivi, studying for NEWTs and keeping up on homework. Because now both girls were out of the dorm and not studying.
Still, it was a sure thing that if Louisa sent for help, Vivi would show up and offer it. She paused in the doorway of the room and wondered why it was so dark. Hadn't Louisa said she'd be here? Had she gotten tired of waiting and left?
Or what if Vickers had already spoken to Louisa about the conversation in the library, and Louisa wanted to have words with Vivi? Or worse... fisticuffs? If that was the case... well, Vivi would probably let the other girl do her worst. "Louisa?"
