And that could get quite messy depending on how many time a particular object was touched!
Hadley stared for a moment. Coincidence totally that they both mentioned the duplicating curse, within seconds of each other. "Correct. Correct." She said, making care to say it twice. Because she may as well stick with the duplicating trend.

Which would definitely cause problems, especially if one wasn't trained in wand less magic. After all, how could you cast a spell if you couldn't say it and didn't know wand less magic?
"It's actually more of a charm, then a curse. Curses usually have a more ...." Fina paused thinking for a moment. "A more dangerous ... undertone to them." She wrote it anyway on the board, putting a light line through it.

His eyes drifted over to the two who answered Gemino.. he also knew its sister spell to be quite a useful charm.. but that wasn't the question. Thinking for a moment so as not to repeat anyone else's answer, the fifth year's hand shot up in the air. "The Flagrante Curse causes objects to burn a person if touched."
Hadley nodded, writing that one on the board as well.

He figured it would be a Curse Breakers least favorite curse. Say they finally reach the item only to have it explode on them if the curse wasn't removed properly. All that hard work for nothing.
"Yes. Very dangerous too if an object is cursed with this where you're working." She nodded.

With her quill twiddling in her two fingers the Ravenclaw raised her other arm, "There's the Impediment Curse, professor. It either slows or stops an object or individual, immobilizing them for a short period of time." It was the curse placed on that box from few terms away as far as Louisa remembered.
"Probably one of the most common too. At least in terms of initial contact, as it's useful sometimes to delay." Gives time for more harm to happen.

"There's the Full Body-Bind Curse. It makes your body freeze up so you can't move."
"Another useful one if you're looking to delay or distract temporarily." But generally pretty harmless.

"I don't think that the curse could be cast on objects... at least not that I've seen...." Hadley said, pondering this now. "But yes. Good." She added that one to the board as well.

Listing all the possible curses? Hmmmm... Being only at the end of his first year, he didn't know a ton of curses. The only ones I've really heard of are... "The Unforgiveable Curses, Aun--Professor?" he said with another sideways glance. As in killing, torture, and control. He wasn't sure he could actually pronounce them, so he left it to their generic title. As soon as he gave his answer, he scrambled to catch up with jotting down all the curses from the board.
She then heard a familiar voice speak up... but this one didn't give what they did. And it was just as well, because had he, well, Fina might have just walked him out of class right there and demanded to know who taught him of those. As it was, she was still wondering where he'd heard of them. "Yes." She said quietly, "And those .... won't ever be taught in my classes other than the name." She can't speak for her colleagues though, but she would hope that they had the good sense to not teach them such dark spells.

"Similar in effect to expulso, but yes, you're correct." Fina nodded at the fifth year.

There was one Sierra thought of that hadn't been said, though, so she raised her hand before it could be suggested by somebody else. "There's the Flagrante Curse," she said. "It causes an object to emit heat when touched." So in other words, that could really do some damage if somebody just walked up and touched an object cursed with the Flagrante Curse.
"Yes, yes." Had Sierra been hit with a duplicating spell too, as she repeated something said before too?

"There's still some more curses out there that haven't been mentioned. Keep them coming..." She said, looking to those who hadn't answered and maybe even to those who had, if they wanted to offer up another curse

"Alexa? Have you any ideas of one?" She called out on the Gryffindor who seemed to be more interested in taking down the curses others mentioned than sharing her own ideas; something told Fina though the girl researched her fair share of them despite her young age.
