Dorian had come up with several possibilities why Wes wanted him in his office, most of which really didn't make much sense. They hadn't done too much damage in searching de Talone's shop, minus the destroyed counter that he was fully prepared to take responsibility for if need be. He still felt a bit stiff from the fall, as well. If he needed the proof. They had found enough other evidence that that should have been a minor incident anyhow, so he doubted that was the reason. More likely was that it was something involved with the chaos that he'd caught a glimpse of as he'd passed the reception area. The zombie case. Although he wasn't exactly working in that, and he'd watched Aron slip inside the office ahead of him. Possibly, it was just a meeting to get him up to speed as a division head. In any case, enough had gone on that he both didn't want to and really couldn't quite focus on any logical reason.

He had shown up, though. After taking leave once again from his family home in Edinburgh, where he'd temporarily returned while the investigation in Hogsmeade had been going on. It had been useful after the incident, seeing as the house elves had tried to keep him comfortable. He'd missed Lorelai, though, and his flat, so the summons was quite welcome. Until he stepped inside the room, and an eyebrow arched slightly. Quite the collection, and his gaze stayed on Ms. Whitworth a bit longer than the others. Just to determine if she was going to come at him again like she had during the orientation, and then he leaned up against the wall near Dacs. No chance of it crumbling underneath him, and he really preferred not trying to fold himself into a chair until he got over the last of the stiffness.
