 The Great Hall
The weather outside the End of Term feast couldn't be more opposite from that of the Start of Term Feast. Only a light spring breeze ruffles your hair as you open the impressive doors to the Great Hall. The beautiful, colorful setting sun is just visible through the enchanted ceiling above. Come in and quietly take your seats by your friends, as this will be the last closing feast ever for some of them.
There is hardly a need for the floating candles above each of the four House tables, but as the sun goes down, their need will become more evident. The Hall is decorated in the blue and bronze colors of House Cup winners Ravenclaw House this evening. Despite the atmosphere of celebration, the general feeling of the hall is more somber than usual. The staff table has a thick, dark black curtain hanging behind it in memory of the two professors who were lost over the course of the term, as well as the one pet.
Be this as it may, another hectic year at Hogwarts has come to an end and the school is still standing. Welcome to the end of the 2078-79 school year and the beginning of summer break. |
