Eliza smiled back at Professor Elwood when she mentioned the sunshine. "Yes, it does make it a lot nicer in here...A lot better than...than," she looked away. "Well, it looks nice anyway." She didn't want to bring up the whole incident on the Astronomy tower, not now anyway.
Though Eliza didn't personally know many, or any, seventh years - Professor Elwood's small speech left her a bit saddened. She hadn't really spoken to those that would graduate this year, but it had been a comfort to her knowing that they were around. They all seemed like nice people and they were really good at school work too. She hoped the sixth years coming in to their last year would be just as nice and helpful. She sighed and tried not to think about it anymore. At least I won't have to worry about that for a long time...
As for Oculomancy, she was clueless. As to the random voice behind the desk, she was even more clueless. Is she just going to let that go? No remarks on it or anything? She hoped she'd answer the girl who asked directly about it. Pretty sure everyone would like to know... She tried to sit taller in her desk to get a look, but to no avail. Is a house elf hiding back there? she wondered. Or...or a ghost? She'd met several of the house ghosts and they seemed friendly enough, so maybe if this was a ghost, it would be friendly too. |
