Daichi wasn't looking like his normal cheerful self. Actually this whole year he had not been his normal cheerful self. His private lesson with Kurumi to get over his fear of fire had made him thinking alot. All the stuff that was and had been going on with the school and during classes and the fact that in the whole year he had not slept well because of his studying for his OWLS.
And despite that he had been learning each night, he still felt worried. There was a worried expression on his features as he walked over the pathway outside of the castle. Tears were forming in his eyes as he thought about the exams and how he was not ready for it. He was going to fail them , and he knew that! He held two school books in his arms that he had borrowed from the library though both of them weren't open. In his bag were his other school books and Mr.Duckles , his plush duck.
With a shaky sigh, Daichi looked around for a good place to sit down. But as he scanned the place his chocolate brown eyes landed on the Ravenclaw Headgirl and a small smile appeared on his lips. He used his sleeve to rub his tired looking eyes"Hey! Louisa.. hey!" he called before he jogged to her place. "Whatcha doin'?"
She was about to use her wand and clear the leave from under this tree and claim the spot as hers when someone called out her name. Her eyes easily found the
kid boy jogging toward her, and if something yellow wasn't visible from his bag, she probably would've thought it was anyone BUT Daichi. "
Daichi! Hey." Louisa flashed him a kind of surprised smile. "
When did you get all tall and not-so-squeaky?" It was probably the first time she paid attention to those details with the boy. And wait... was he.. why were his eyes sparkling?
She cleaned the spot finally and plopped down, patting the space next to her for him to join her. "
I was just out and about. The library is making me snooze lately and I need fresh air while I prepare for NEWTs." The satchel was taken off then and Louisa put one of her hands on top of it indicating books. "
How have you been? I haven't seen you around much." In her head, the fact that this might be their last chat in school kept flashing over and over again.
Sigh.
