Laura smiled as she looked at the candy they had both collected. "I think we have enought now, what do you think?" Laura didn't want to leave unless Mick was sure he was ready.
Mick playfully raised his eyebrow at Laura, getting curious about what her mind was cooking up. He cradled his candy in one arm and wrapped the other around her shoulders, pulling her closer. "I do like surprises," he softly said to her.
Oh god! How is it that I am NOT acting like a total dork right now? Where did all this awesomeness come from??? "I'm sure I'll like whatever you give me."
As he let go of her, he silently counted the candy in his little jacket basket and nodded, agreeing that they have enough (to last about a month). Mick took Laura's hand and began heading to the counter when a thought came to mind. "When do I get to meet your friends?" he asked, facing her. She already knows Minnie and Ethan, and she has made mention that she has tons of friends. He felt a little anxious about meeting Laura's other friends, since he doesn't know that many people at school.
