In response to Lexa's question about her not playing Em turned to her once more. “Because I can't fly, that's why.” And she couldn't, no matter what Max said.
Lex smiled at the girl. Why was she smiling? Simple. If she didn't then she would have started acting like the sore loser she was and there might have been a tantrum shortly afterwards. Yeah...so she'd just smile.

"Well we'll see about that now won't we?" Was all she was prepared to say because she was well aware of the Professors and now the Headmistress that were behind them. Plus, she liked Em and could tell she was only joking--she was joking...right? o_O

"Can't fly?! But everyone can fly!" That was just ridiculous and she wasn't buying it. [b]"You don't have to lie you know. Pout.

She hadn't watched the Gryffindor team play before. It was odd.
Hadn't been near the water?! But then how would she communicate with the Giant Squid?! This was all so messed up and the kid didn't know what to make of it. At this rate she would never see the creature. SIGH. "Well then were you playing in the rain without me?" That would have upset her beyond belief. Playing in the rain was fun.

"Goooooooo Penelope!!!!! Go Gryffindor!!! Whooo!!! Penelope!!!!" And then she had to put in, "And gooo Vivi!!!" You know, 'cause they were both important.

"She is." Medea nodded in agreement, regardless of the fact that she couldn't tell which player was which when they were flying around as fast as they were. Supposed she could just look for a glint of blond hair though.

Who was she cheering for? "Oh...I'm supporting both sides." Neutral zone.
It seemed the Professor was finally seeing the error of her ways. Lex nodded at this.

Oooooooo!

Neutral!

Perfect!!!!! Lex beamed up at the woman, definitely glad she'd said that. "That's great! Awesome for you Professor, now would you like to paint your face red in show of support to a house that needs it?" She already had the paint and everything...she just needed some willing volunteers.... "You can have it all painted or just half...but if you only paint half you can't have the other half being blue." No. It couldn't work like that.

Then suddenly...

O_____O

What just happened...?

Elwood stared at the fiesty little lion as she began to go off on her for not supported what she deemed as the right house and was about to say something else to let her know that it wasn't that she disliked the Lions but that she just was rooting for the Eagles when the girl changed her attitude.

See she wasn't all that bad kid. But what was this about face paint? She hadn't painted her face since the theater production in one of Medea's lessons last term when she was a Banshee. "Oh, not thanks dear, not to day." It just wouldn't look right really. Too bad.
SCOWL.

The woman was being extremely difficult. Mmm. "Okay fine...don't paint your face...just know you've made someone a VERY unhappy lioness today." Yeah she was using the voice of innocence because this woman was hard to break. Lex looked up at her with big, disappointed eyes. "All I wanted was a little support for my house and you'd rather have me here feeling dejected than put a few strokes of red on your face." POUT.

He would have shook her hand or something but she was painting his face and at that moment one of the players were falling into the stands, Max was fighting very hard to stay still and not watch this commotion...but somehow he managed. He couldn't help but grin as his Ex-Girlfriend announced Penelope catching the snitch..
Lex carefully painted his face, making sure to get every inch of it. The Gryffindor in him needed to come out and she was gonna help with that.

"There! All done!!" She beamed at his perfectly red face. "You look amazing now!" Nod nod nod. "Annnnnd now we cheer! I know we're losing but Lion's have spirit so get to it!!" That's right. She wasn't gonna let him sit there doing nothing, especially now that he had a face all nicely painted and everything.

What's with Lex cheering for other teams and helping houses in classes. "Again I repeat...You are a true lioness." She stated casually. She didn't need any more proofs. And what did the girl ask Cassia? The second-year wrinkled her nose, "Actually I'd mind." Because Gryffindor were losing. "And are you sure you could erase this? What if you stayed like this for the rest of your life?" That would be weird and not pleasant. Anyway, Cassia felt a little bit bad for turning Alexa down like this. "Um look about the painting...you could paint only two little small barely visible lines under my eyes." The Snake inside Cassia protested against this niceness but words were already out of her mouth. "BUT are you sure I can wipe them then?" She asked very very concerned about her look.
So Cassia was turning her down too? These people were most certainly not inspiring confidence in the 11 year old today. Just a little face painting; that's all she asked yet everyone was determined to say no.

Oh umm...

"Of course it can be erased, it's not permanent or anything like that." And even if it was did it matter? Wait...did this mean she was changing her mind??? Lex looked over at the girl with hopeful eyes. It would've meant a lot to her if she got the go ahead. One more person in red would've really brightened her mood.

She looked back to the pitch for a moment, realizing the girl wouldn't give in--but wait. GRIN. Lex turned to her again. "Really?!" Eeeep!! "Okie, I can do that!!!" She got the paint ready again and gave her to lines. "There, thanks Cassia!"

"Roar roar Gryffindor!" she cheered, albeit much more quietly than any of the students. She wasn't quiet enough, it seemed, for one little Gryffindor... her least favorite, actually... seemed to hear her, and was now offering to paint her face.

Anastasia had to blink and stare at the girl for a moment to ascertain whether she was being serious or trying to play some sort of cruel joke. Was 'paint your face red' code for something...? She just didn't know with children these days...

"Oh erm, no thank you, dear, though that's awfully kind of you to offer." She shook her head no with a firm smile fixed in place. "Your team is doing a splendid job though." She gestured toward the pitch, hoping Alexa would turn back around again, and then leaned around Dash toward her other coworkers.
And now the Headmistress was turning her down. Her scowl got even deeper. Didn't anyone appreciate a good face painting in the name of a good Quidditch match??? They were all just lame was what they were.

Trying not to get too upset she ignored the no and listened as the Headmistress complimented her house on their playing. "I suppose so." 'Cept they were losing. "Glad you're cheering for them. Even if she refused to paint her face. In some way there was support so she wouldn't complain all that much. Instead she turned back around and went back to the game that was only getting worse.

I guess a few red stars on the blue painting won't hurt." She smiled and patted the top of her head.

Louisa pushed her already red hair to the back and lifted her head up, letting the lioness have access to her face. "Go ahead, Vivi's buddy!" Oh about that... "You do have your own name, right?" Which waaaaaas...?
FINALLYSOMEONEELSEWHOSAIDYES!!!!

She was beginning to take all the 'no' answers quite personal. It amazed her just how many people were unwilling to paint their faces. She grinned at the girl then got straight to it--not overdoing it at all because then she'd never get the girl to trust her again.

A star here...a star there...doo dee doo dee doo. Oh the joys of painting.

"There! All done!!" And of course she beamed a little at being called Vivi's buddy again but like the girl said, she had her own name. "Oh I'm Alexa!" She was actually happy the girl didn't know her name before she said it. The other day another claw completely freaked her out when she said her name even though they'd never met before...weird people. O__O

She wanted to keep her eyes on the match.
By now the girl was getting sad. With the exception of a few people no one wanted their faces painted. "Oh...okay..." Could you hear the sadess in her voice? She was hoping so. If they didn't want their faces painted then the least they could do was feel bad about it. "Can I have another gummy worm...?" Comfort food because she didn't have her chocolate frogs with her.

She turned to the pitch when she heard another goal was scored.

Ravenclaw won...? Seriously...?
