As he heard that her birthday already passed, a small frown appeared on his face. Ahhh, I still want to get her something though...But he wasn't going to let that tiny let down ruin his good mood. Nope. "My birthday is May 20th," he said, with his voice perking up a little. "So, not too far away from now." One thing he likes about birthdays are the presents, and the best thing about presents is the surprise. Seeing that they'll still be in school during his birthday, Mick just wants to spend it with his friends. That will alone will be his present.
Laura smiled at Mick, she was so excited she could get him a skateboard or something like that it wouldn't be hard for her to do, she would get her mother to sent it to her from home. "I think I can remember that." Laura giggled as she nudged him to let him know she was playing.
Laura smiled as she looked at the candy they had both collected. "I think we have enought now, what do you think?" Laura didn't want to leave unless Mick was sure he was ready.
