Cassia smiled when Kat handed her the mirror and took it from her. She untwisted the lock and peered at her own reflection. It was weird at first seeing her hair reaching below her shoulders. Usually she'd be able to see her strands of hair's endings. Now she couldn't. Cassia moved the mirror up and down also to examine how she looked from all angles. It was interesting to see her look change unexpectedly.
Though she was still examining and devouring the sensation, she closed the mirror and put it on the desk. She had to perform the spell on Kat now. "Okay, my turn." She said trying to sound confident though her voice showed a bit of doubt that she'd be able to perform it so correctly just like Kat did. But she was going to make sure she did.

Once, Kat turned around. Cassia reached for her wand and pointed it at Kat's head. However, before she said anything she looked closely at Kat's hair. It was long that reached below her shoulder blades. Cassia was so not going to damage her friend's hair. Taking a deep breath in, the second-year concentrated and with a ripple move of her wand she uttered," Cresco Capillus." She so waned to cover her eyes and ask Kat how it turned out. But she was supposed to gain confidence in her own self this year. A goal she hadn't yet achieved.

Kat's hair did get longer however it wasn't accurately level. Cassia looked more closely and noticed that the right strands of her got longer than the left ones of Kat's hair. "Errr….wait a moment I can fix that." She said trying not to freak out. Reaching her wand again Cassia pointed it at the shorter strands and pulled the others aside. "Cresco Capillus," She said making ripple shape. Once Kat's hair reached the same length Cassia stopped the spell flickering her wand like the professor showed them.

She double-checked the length and nodded approvingly at Kat's hair. "Okay,I'm finished." She said smiling. She didn't cause any permanent damage.
