Gulp. Kat had to make the first try. She was older and she needed to demonstrate Cassia. It was easy since Cassia has short hair, so it wouldn't feel too weird with the thought of overgrowing it. The older Slytherin sighed. "Alright, I'll do my best to get the spell right," she assured that. It was obvious that she didn't want to mess the spell up. It would be horrible if she did and she would probably go hide herself in the Girls' Dormitory and never show her face again. Well, that was over-reacting.
"I'd suggest you turn around so that I know where I'm casting my spell on. She didn't want Cassia's eyebrow hair or nose hair to grow rapidly. That would have been even MORE horrid. Kat took a deep breath before finally convincing herself to get to the point. "Cresco Capillus," Kat said and did the ripple hand movement. Kat smiled when she saw the younger girl's hair starting to grow. Working out the length was easy, as Kat stopped rippling her wand around once Cassia's hair grew until her back. Maybe that was a bit too long... but, hey, Cassia looked good with long hair.
Kat is an older student and good one.Cassia kept reminding herself while she sat waiting for Kat to work on her hair. She didn't want to like freak out and make a run while Kat was performing. Overreacting? Well, you couldn't possibly blame a twelve-years old who is attached to her hair…..emotionally. And so Kat started……
Cassia automatically closed her eyes. Not that she could see what Kat was doing but still it felt more safe with eyes closed. After hearing Kat say the incantation Cassia braced herself. Good until now she didn't feel any breeze on her scalp meaning her hair was still here. Instead she felt something on her back.
Opening her eyes, Cassia shook her head and felt hair rippling on her back. She had never experienced the feeling of long hair. Cassia flashed Kat a huge grin.
"I love it!" She touched her new long hair and twisted it in a ponytail. She let it then ripple on her shoulder. She really liked it and wished to have a mirror right now to see how did she look with long hair. The Slytherin looked around her just in case a mirror represent itself. Well, it didn't happen.
"Okay turn around I do it now," She said excitedly now that she saw the spell is easy and doable. Maybe once Cassia was done with Kat's hair they'd search for a mirror? Eh…Maybe.
