Lex turned to her slowly, still keeping the wand motion going. The girl needed a partner and thought bothering the Professor about it would have been the best option when there was a firstie just over there practising alone. Seriously? What? She said, gesturing towards the girl that had begun practising on her own.

She had still been staring at her small pile of hair on the floor when she heard someone say her name. She looked up to see where it had come from. Oh, Alexa? She looked in the direction the other first year was looking and saw a girl she'd never talked to before, who was partnerless too. She hadn't even seen her standing there until now.

"Oh! Sure, thanks!" She smiled and nodded at Alexa, then walked over to the girl.

"Hi, I'm Eliza," she said in her best 'nice to meet you' voice. "Want to be partners?" She motioned to the barber chair she'd been using and to the pile of hair on the floor. "I seem to have the spell working, so you won't have to worry about anything too weird happening, I don't think..."
