Millie turned on the spot and watched the human who had been looking after her walk away and nose twitched a little. She didn't want him to go. There were bad things in the playground. Millie turned back around to see where Pepper had disappeared to and she waddled along as quick as her little legs would carry her. And just as she neared the back of the playground, she saw Pepper jump the fence and run away.
Which meant she was now alone. In the playground. Where bad things were hiding.
