Minerva smiled to herself as she felt him kiss her head. He was just so sweet, so caring. She couldn't believe they were actually dating and she was here with him at this moment it was just the best. "Yeah the term has gone quickly. So much has gone on." She shook her head and looked at him, "Oh Ethan, you are a good wizard, I have seen you do spells, but transfiguration is my favorite subject. So of course I would love to help you study for that part." Plus studying just meant more time with him and she would take it.
Minerva saw him shake his head, [B]"Well it's not horrible. Sleeping on the ground can be a pain, but the scenery is usually beautiful. Maybe if I can get a group and have grandpa take us you could come along." She figured if it wasn't just them that he might be allowed to come or something. She smiled and leaned into him a bit, "Maybe we could look at the ceiling together." Yes she could come over and visit with him and they could look up at the stars, their own little Hogwarts Great Hall camp out, well until she had to go back to her own sleeping area.. "Yes I find it very interesting that Laura found Mick.." She laughed thinking about his dancing skills and her ways. They were a good match, she hoped it would work.
Minerva eyes got bigger when he said he was a chocolate nut as well. "Well then I guess Laura and Mick aren't the only good matches around here." She winked and laughed a bit, "Oh I have plenty of muggle candy you will really like then if you are a chocolate person. I was so glad when we got to go to hogsmeade, because I was out of Chocolate Frogs and Fudge. I was going crazy." She hated that all her things were still up in her common room being wasted without her.
Looking at the brooms she bounced a bit excited to get back on a broom. She blushed when he said she was brilliant, "I don't know about that. I always felt more like the weaker of the players and I think seeing how great they are this term it really showed how much I was lacking." Giggling she shook her head, "Last term I lost my bat and it flew to the stands hitting Lafay." Minerva shook her head and just laughed, "But in my defense I was in pain during that match I was hit twice in the ribs by bludgers so holding on to the bat was rough." She took a broom from him and looked it over. Then she looked up when he commented on her broom and then her wand, she frowned. She forgot how hard it was to let someone in that didn't know her family. "Many things have happened since I found out I was a wizard. An entire new family came out of the wood work so to speak, Leelee has her own business that is a bit dangerous. I don't know if she was trying to protect me or what when she forced me to my muggle grandparents, but she wanted me to stay muggle. She did not want me coming back to Hogwarts or the wizarding world." A small smile crossed her face as she got on the broom and got ready to lift off, "But now that I know this world is real why on earth would I stay away."
So much had gone on already this term, hadn't it? Ethan wondered if they were ever going to get their common rooms back.. or if they'd ever find out what exactly was going on.. He had lost most of his faith in the adults of the school when he was sure the would figure things out.. and just hadn't. The boy smiled a little at Minerva's words and looked down at the ground.
"I'm not that great.. especially at spells." Sure, he knew he was good at Herbology and Potions.. but wandwork was a different story. There were a few spells he had gotten good at.. with a ton of practice.. but even he would question why he got sorted into Ravenclaw. Looking back up, he smiled at her offer.
"Maybe you can meet me at the library tomorrow after class.. if you're not busy?" Yeah, he probably should get started on that class's studying right away.
The boy smiled to himself as he thought about her words. Ethan was sure he'd never want to spend another night on the ground after this whole ordeal was over.. but the thought of visiting her over the summer with her family seemed to make that worth it.
"I think that might be fun," he nodded, then his smile grew. The ceiling would be nice to look at together.. that reminded him of their first date, looking at the stars. He chuckled thinking about Mick and Laura.. those two were so funny.
"We should all do something together." That would be loads of fun.
"You do?" Ethan's eyes widened slightly. Muggle candy intrigued him.. especially the chocolate kind.
"I'd like to try all of them then..." Hopefully the lockout would be resolved before end of term.. ugh. Then he chuckled a bit.
"You sound like me.. I've been stocking up on chocolate frogs every time we went to Hogsmeade, so I would have enough till the next time." And now he had none because of the lockout. Hopefully they could go to Hogsmeade again soon.
Ethan gave her an amused smile.
"Oh come on.. I'm sure you were a great player. You wouldn't have made the team if you weren't..." He laughed as she talked of her bat. Oh Merlin, he would've paid galleons to have seen that. Then he stopped and frowned a little as she mentioned the bludgers.
"Yeah.. I've been hit with bludgers before too.. Not fun." And he was thankful for that subject to have been changed even though it wasn't any more cheerful. He watched Minnie curiously as she tried explaining her family.. and he didn't really understand. Why anyone would want a witch to become a Muggle, he didn't know. The boy got onto his broom and leaned in really close.
"Well.. I'm glad you came back," he said, then pulled back and took off into the air, glancing behind him to see if she would follow.
