Although...eating and flying was an interesting thought too. Hm...
"We could do both?" she suggested. "Depending on what you wanna eat. 'Cause there're probably some things that're better to eat on the ground when you're not controlling a broom." And there was no need to try to force yourself to multi-task while eating if you didn't have to, especially if you ended up falling and wound up on the ground anyway. And if you fell, you'd probably drop the food too, and then it'd be wasted, and that wouldn't be okay.
...Oh and look, there was Theo and Ella over there. Interesting. Was he planning on "measuring" her head too? Good luck to her if he was.
...And did West just cough, or was she imagining it? She'd still been looking over at the other two so she hadn't really paid attention for a few seconds. But since he seemed fine now and suggested they go get the food, she decided not to mention it and nodded instead. "Sure, let's go," she said, grinning, then turning to head into the Great Hall.
"Okay." West laughed a bit. Both worked. And she was right because soup or porridge wouldn't be easy to eat on a broom. But FUN though. Probably. Sad if you dropped it and couldn't eat it though. Not that West would drop food anywhere except in his mouuuuth. And to be honest some kinds of food probably he'd still eat off the ground, really.
He beamed at Penelope and then when she turned to go into the Great Hall, he followed, looking over his shoulder at Theo for a BESTIE!LOOK. They would talk later. And such.
West eagerly went into the Great Hall, backpack at the ready.
