Callie eyed her strangely as she came up to her with that tone of voice, drawing her name out all weird and acting overly friendly. I usually walk by there anyways since I'm already up in the towers and help the little ones work out the riddles but that day I showed up and Gemma was hammering on it saying the Eagle knocker would take any of their answers. And there were some smart kids up there so something was definately up." Yeah, riddles could be tough but one hard enough to keep the whole house out? Not likely.

'Evening, Headmistress?' Hmm, perhaps the blonde had a better memory than Anastasia had been counting on... regardless, she had news, and Annie drank it up like a parched soldier.

"I'm just trying to assess the situation as it is," Annie answered seriously, and quietly. Didn't want the kiddies overhearing this. "So Gemma's been up there?" Hmm, neither the Muggle Studies professor now the Flying instructor NOR the Divination professor were people that could help her, really.

She twirled a bit of hair around one finger. "Have you felt any, ah, any more tremors from the........... spirit world?" Merlin that was a hard question to ask.
