"You were great." Cue the blush... DARN. Oh, no, no, no... "I mean I'm embarrassed about... Quidditch and the whole losing thing." Just in case other teams didn't see them as a threat anymore. BUT THEY WERE A THREAT, I TELL YA.
Good, no cheese. That was a killer, he'd heard. As well as caffeine and sweets before bed time. But Theo didn't listen to that one.
"West is my best friend." Theo corrected with a friendly smile, but that faded quickly when he realized where this was going. OH SNAP - "I, uh... he stroked your hair? Huh - what's wrong with that, maybe he thought your hair was pretty?" Even if that was the case, it would still be CREEPY. He wouldn't mention that he did the exact same thing to Penelope.
O_O
Polyjuice potion? "He wouldn't do THAT." Though that did sound like a Theo!West kinda adventure for the future.... hmm...
Well then...Ella raised her eyebrows at Theo before shrugging. He could really be quite snappy sometimes.
"Well I don't think you guys are rubbish." It that helped at all. She knew how Slytherins felt about Hufflepuffs so she wouldn't be surprised if her opinion didn't mean squat to them.
"Great? Well..." GRIN.
"Thanks Theo, that means a lot." And she was a bit confused why he was blushing but she just shrugged it off. She stopped smiling when she realized why he was embarrassed and nudged him, offering him a small smile.
"You shouldn't be embarrassed Theo, there's no reason to be." They were still a really good team
and quite scary.
"Right...best friend. Sorry." She said with a small smile, shrugging her shoulders.
"Yeah, stroked it...like a few times, actually." Which had been just a TAD weird.
"Pretty? No...I don't think so...He said he was getting lint out of it only...you don't need to stroke someone's head to do that and..." Shrug.
"It was just um...odd." Understatement of the year, right there.
The fourteen year old felt a bit bad about implying that West was some evil schemer and she frowned, playing with her sleeve absently.
"I...no I don't think he would it's just...it was a dream and...yeah."
