Spike had been busy taking care of who-knows-what (but probably something to do with his pets, or making sure Rosie wasn't going to bite anyone in their sleep), and had only just managed to get to the Ravenclaw sleeping area. He bit his lip, and ran his fingers over his hair as he pondered what else needed to be done. Things actually seemed fairly organised after the chaos they'd encountered upstairs on first realising everyone was locked out.

With that decided, Spike figured he could just chill a bit until Prof V needed him to do something. His heart locked up as he saw Beezus, and so he purposely turned away from her and Vivi to the gathering of seventh years.

"Max, Vickers," he said with a friendly nod in greeting. "Mind if I gatecrash the seventh year party?" He grinned. They wouldn't turn the Prefect away, right? Unless they was some super secret seventh year planning going on? Did that even happen...?

Oh, and where were his manners? "I'm not sure we've met," he said to the Hufflepuff in the group. "Spike Hutchinson," he introduced.
