Well the girl talked, frowned and raised her hand. That was a good sign! Louisa didn't kill her. "It won't be a challenge if I had to do it loudly, but okay, I'll count to three next time. It doesn't hurt though, does it?" Nope, coz Cassia found time to demand warning. One of her cats, Cuddles, even came closer to snuggle with the snake's leg. She must've seen the frown and the passive energy and sensed something was wrong. See Louisa suspected Cuddles had some magic in her, she was a highly sensitive feline.

As soon as the second year announced her turn, Louisa closed her eyes tight and extended her left hand. She had to open her eyelids a bit though when the spell was cast. "Ow!" Her fingers bent and then jerked up stiff. It didn't hurt, but it didn't feel comfortable either. She wiggled her hand to show how the curse worked. "Good job." With a flick of her wand, the spell was broken and she could flex her hand easily.

"Okay, the next spell is Torparticus." She was still flexing and unflexing her hand. "Torp-ar-ticus.." This spell was harder and needed more focus, Louisa didn't want to LOSE her bones forever. "Torp-ar-ticus.." The wand movement was easy, a jab shouldn't be that hard to manage. "Tell me if you're ready to practice the wand movement." Louisa shooed her cat off the girl's leg but Cuddles of course didn't budge.
