She shifted her position on the sleeping bag and eyed the thing....grumpily. "I have never EVER slept on something so...lumpy. Or flat. Don't muggles sleep on these things?" she asked, twirling her finger around on one of the lumps...squishing it down...it was so strange. "We aren't going to get much sleep, are we?" she asked, raising her eyes to Presley, looking suddenly...meehhhh.
But then Presley asked...what type of things...she just smirked and winked. "You'll see," she said mysteriously, shrugging it off...for now. But she couldn't keep Presley waiting forever. "Wait for everyone else to sleep..." hehehe.
OH.
"Pres! Crud! How are things at home? How was Christmas?" she asked, eyes widening...she had worried about Miss Black...though she had spent a fair amount of time at Max's...and not at home. Home was too hostile right now. She had to tell Presley about....that, too. Hmm. So many things to tell her...
Oh Elliot would need help. Presley even needed help, and if she did, obviously Elliot would. Presley actually laughed out loud at Elliot's question.
"Elliot, muggles sleep on beds. Same as us." They weren't totally stuck in the middle ages. Then she shook her head. Nope, they wouldn't get much sleep. These were way to thin to be sleeping on stone floor. This was gonna suck to have classes in the morning.
Home. That word again. It wasn't Presley's home. It was her fathers. It hadn't been home to her since she was little.
"It was okay. We missed you at the soiree." There wasn't much she could say around listening ears.
"My father was pretty apathetic toward me, but it was an improvement on actively hating." As in, dance classes were back on, even though Pres felt way out of practice, but there were never going to be rainbows and happy smiles between them.
"How about your holidays?" She asked the younger girl. She hadn't seen much of Elliot the past Christmas break.
