"Well, I have thirteen items because that is how old I am turning. Although I want more, I do not need more" frankfully she did not need any candy. Sarah began selecting her gumballs. "I like getting a sugar rush, although sometimes you do not need candy to have sugar rush effect." Sarah paused for effect, "I can get hyper from just being delariously happy! There is so much to be happy about, it is a wonder I am not always hyper" Yeah, her heart was beating, she had the most wonderful family, friends, she was a witch...
She wanted to know when her birthday was? well Sarah loved presents, it was like free stuff . "It is the 20th of February" . she said, hint. hint. nudge.nudge. elbow.elbow"when is yours?" Sarah asked
"Hmmm...I guess that makes sense...sort of..." She mused as she continued browsing the shelves. There was still a lot that she wanted and with so many options she was finding it a little hard to make up her mind.
"I'll never buy candy based on my age...I'd have to wait too long to get an amount that's actually satisfying." And the fact still remained that she probably wouldn't live long enough to get all the candy she was eating now.
"And I know that. Candy isn't my only source of hyper-activity but it's the best!" GRIN.
"No amount of hyperness can compare to the rush you get after scarfing down a dozen chocolate frogs." And nothing could compare to the massive headache that came afterwards but the chocolate totally made it worth it. Yup. Can't put a price on candy.
She picked up a few fizzing whizbees, some creature feature chewing gum and a giant gumball while she listened to Sarah go on talking.
She straightened immediately when she heard the date.
"But that's so soon! Oh no! I'll have to ask Daddy to owl over something for you! Why didn't you tell me sooner?? I would have bought it over the break." Especially seeing as she'd spent almost everyday in Diagon Alley with Will over the break. It wouldn't have been any trouble. In all her new worry she almost forgot that she was asked a question.
"Mine's pretty far off still. It's June 16th."
