Lex breathed a small sigh of relief when she heard that her apology had been accepted. Good. One less reason for Kurumi or Selina to kill her; Merlin knew they already had plenty!
She slumped back a bit waiting for him to address the class and when he did a wide smile spread across her face.
"I am!!!" She said enthusiastically, the previous encounter already forgotten. What could she say? She wasn't one to dwell on the past when the future was finally starting to sound so pleasant.
"I can't wait!" She was still under the illusion that nothing could ruin this class.

Quite reluctantly she reached over and picked up her text that she had long ago thrown down next to her on the floor; it was only a book afterall. Her fingers drifted from page to page until she got to the right one. Now to wait. Sigh AGAIN.
