Josh stared at Simon as the latter checked his watch. It looked like his friend was really busy with this line and...things that he could not see in the line was happening. And it definitely looked like Simon was not having fun. What was wrong?

Before he could ask that anyway he was pulled by the other YATI to the certain wand check spot. ''Did you see Evelyn?'' he asked. He was still not aware of the fact that he was supposed to work there until Simon himself mentioned that. Josh blinked and blinked more when he saw Simon's injured hand.

''My turn?'' his tone was questioning but he took his spot anyway. Wand checking should not be a difficult task but what was going on with Simon? That part he could not understand. Plus there was one more problem: he was thirsty. He had walked into the ministry with the hopes that he would be able to get a fine drink but now he was stuck there.

Maybe at least he could see Evelyn. He did not know if she had already arrived or not. Sighing a bit he looked at the line to see if anyone needed his help half hoping his girlfriend would show up.
