Milton bit the inside of his lip and tried not to smile, but he couldn't help it, especially after what Taryn said. Milton chuckled again and shook his head.
"I know, it's just... different." Very different indeed.
One last kiss? Milton just grinned and leaned over the table. He kissed her for a moment, one last time with a smile on his face before pulling away.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Taryn." What a strange Valentine's day it was, but it was all just fine. He just spent six months with a wonderful girl and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't blow up in either of their faces. Milton didn't really have anything to complain about.
