Milton was relieved that she didn't look at him like he was crazy for laughing. Or cry. Milton was relieved she didn't cry. He didn't handle crying girls well.
This was probably the most bizzare thing Milton had ever experienced. A breakup where the girl didn't want to hex off certain parts of his body. And he wasn't even all that upset, either. It wasn't like he was relieved or excited that he and Taryn were breaking up, but it was just... Fine.
"No hard feelings. Even with everything." Milton smiled at her, hardly believing that breakups could be this clean. This was such a new experience, he almost didn't know what do do with himself.
