Sierra stood up and left the plant she'd just protected. She walked down the rows and rows of other plants until she came to a different type of plant. She had no idea which plants the other students had already protected, but she figured if she moved around a lot and tended to as many different plants as possible, she'd stand a good chance of reaching the ones that hadn't been protected yet.

She had just bent down next to a plant when she heard her name. Spinning around, she saw her mother stand nearby, clippers in hand. "Hey, Mmm..." She caught herself just in time, though. "Hello, Professor Lafay." She didn't think she'd ever get used to that. She turned back to the plant and started spraying it's leaves and base. "We made minsecticide in the last Herbology class," she said, "and now we have to spray down at least four plants here and another four in the greenhouses." Looking at the clippers, she added, "What are you gathering?"
