Moving on to the last step, Gideon slipped on his gloves. No getting leeches attached to oneself as Professor Lafay said. That would certainly be a bad thing. He placed the first leech inside his potion and watched it suck at the liquid before dissolving once it was full. It really was an interesting effect. The young man then repeated the process until all the leeches were in the cauldron and liquified into the potion for lack of a better term. The liquid now a dark red...even more so then the blood had been.

He then picked his wand back up, preparing to cast the spell that marked the end of the brewing process. "VERAX!" he cast loud and clear, a jabbing motion straight as an arrow proceeding it. There...all done.

Gideon removed his gloves and added the last pits of information into his notes, making sure he had all the steps and comments within for future reference. His attention drawn back to Lafay as she ended class, he listened to the homework assignment. Adding that to the parchment as well before bottling up his work...a now crystal clear potion, and proceeding to clean his work area up.
