She looked cold. Was she cold? He shrugged out of his suit jacket and offered it to her. He was a little warm in it anyway.

Maine smiled as Leo turned around and tucked a stray strand of hair back behind her ear. She wasn't really a fan of big functions like this, but if Leo was there it got just a little bit more bearable. Maybe she wouldn't be bored halfway insane with meaningless conversations.
"You're not looking too bad yourself," she said, smiling.
She was being introduced? Smiling, she turned to face the man and was a little shocked by his resemblance to Leo. Maybe it was a family thing. Family resemblances and such.
"The pleasure's all mine," she smiled, taking the man's hand.
"Congratulations. I work in Magical Accidents and Catastropes." Ironic, really. Since Maine was a Magical Catastrophe herself.
Turning to Leo, she smiled and shook her head. She didn't need the coat, no. Inclining her head subtly towards the minister, she tried to wordlessly send him the message that this was a formal event. And he had to keep his coat on.
