[ SPOILER!!: Dorian, and Natasha Quote:

There wasn't any reason to interrupt, and it gave him time to just watch the room. Habit, even though it wasn't exactly his job. Ms. Whitworth really didn't look very good, but as expected, she was holding to her MLE strength and refusing help. Even as the tension seemed to be building while people just continued talking around the redhead. He was half-tempted to offer to speak to Wes for her, but before he could say anything, the others' attention was back on himself. "Isobel," he'd responded, as the Mysteries head had turned from her sister. "Things been going well outside of Ministry work?" He could have looked for Wes, and asked his friend and boss the same question, but it wasn't exactly a question one man asked of the other. Not when they worked on Level Two, and he'd turned toward the lone male of the group he had approached as he'd introduced himself with a nod. ""Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Taylor," he replied, glancing down at the melted shoes on his feet idly as he considered how formal an introduction was necessary. Things were definitely interesting over here, and he had a feeling he knew who had caused that little detail. Plus, so far they hadn't exchanged departments anyhow.
Until the Yeti watcher had introduced herself as well, and he turned his attention to the brunette. Leaving the response to Natasha's teasing reply to wait for the moment. "Well, with that information, I wouldn't expect a yeti to have taken you much by surprise if it had done anything odd, Ms. Wellington," he replied with a faint smile, taking the outstretched hand and shaking it gently. One would expect the head of Magical Creatures to know how to deal with creatures, after all. At least, she looked to be more than just a figurehead, and if she'd ventured off to Nepal on her own, it was likely that was a correct theory. And then he'd turned back to Natasha, expression taking on an amused yet outwardly concerned appearance at her words. At least she'd understood the joke. "So instead of the inkwell conspiracy staying contained, it's spread to include the stationery as well," he replied wryly. "Perhaps someone should look into that." Or not. Seeing as there were plenty of other cases to look into, even if de Talone had been apprehended.
Namely, the odd appearance of his colleague, as Ms. Whitworth had gone on the move again after her tirade at the others' concern. On the move after apparently taking offense at his holding back from joining the concern, as he had in fact heard the aborted sarcasm, even as he'd disregarded it for the time being. He held his ground at the shuffle towards him, though. Not even taking his wand out, although he sidestepped slightly as she had kept moving forward. "Perhaps we should take a trip over to see Wes," he said in a low voice, leaning forward so only she could hear. Not an escort, exactly. She obviously wasn't open to that wording, and he wasn't about to suggest asking for time off. Just a little trip over to the department head so they could consider their options. He didn't think the others would mind, although he was prepared to stun if necessary to avoid injury. Both to them and herself. Quote:

"I work on level five. International Cooperation, and which level do you work on? If you don't mind me asking."
Um, what? He'd refused to take her money thinking he was being kind and she decided to throw it back in his face? Okay, next time, he wouldn't be doing that. He just stared at the zombie woman until she looked like she was going to throw up again. He stood his ground though, figuring it couldn't get much worse for him. His eyebrow raised as she yelled at everyone. They were just trying to help.
Charles nodded at the man, appreciating being called what he was used to hearing. His eyes followed the man's to his shoes and he glanced at Kensi, silently telling him it had been her fault. Standing stock still through the weirdness that ensued, Charles wondered if zombie really WAS the right word now. She was doing what all the zombies in those muggle movies did with a large helping of creepy dumped on top. Quote:

Natasha explained to Ella. Care of magical creatures lessons in her school days had been tough, scary and sometimes embarrassing she vividly remembered.
Shrugging she sighed along with Ella. "Yes unfortunately the vacation is over. I’m excited and ready to get back to work thought and to get to know all my new co-workers." She added as an afterthought. There was no way that she was going to meet all of the new level 3rs tonight. "Are you going to enter the raffle?" Tasha asked since she was toying with the idea herself even if she never won anything. Splendid, just splendid now Kensi was shouting at her and acting hysterical because she had used the phrase escort. Okay Tasha could admit it was a bad choice of word in retrospect but did the younger woman have to glare and get all outraged because of it? SIGH!
In a calm tone Tasha stepped back in front of Kensi to try and repair the damage which she seemed to have caused. "Yes you are sick we can all see that. There is no use biting our heads off when we are only trying to help you." Pfft. Looooong pause. "It’s admirable of you to want to work even when you are sick to not put your colleagues without backup on an important case but I think my sister Isobel and also Dorian can attest to the fact that you will hinder more than help in your current state of sickness." She was RIGHT! Kensi had been drooling, throwing up and well been pretty much hysterical and sat fire to a man shoes. She couldn’t be considered stable or fit to work. Anyone could see that.
And Tasha was still majorly displeased by being glared and shouted at. "Oh, no I think your right. It’s a big plot against me. I think somebody needs to go to the bottom of it asap." Natasha said sounding slightly shocked and worried. Doing her best to contain the laugh that was bubbling inside her she asked "Did you do anything nice on your vacation Dorian?" besides chatting with her in Scribbulus. Louisa was babysitting the twins for the day while Isobel and Wesley were both here and at work. At least it wasn’t their mother. Tasha would have raised a big brow if she had volunteered. "Can’t you get Wesley to collect the twins after work? I want a sister night without the twins. Don’t get me wrong I adore my nephews but I miss our sister time." She pleaded.
And really she wanted someone to talk to about everything and gossip with and Isobel was her go to person for that. "I work on Level three. Accidents and Catastrophs." Tasha supplied with a slightly broadened smile. Trying to smooth over the fact that she had snapped at him earlier she asked "What do you work with? If you don't mind me asking?" International cooperation. Hmm. Foreign relations and such she had many dealings with that department but she hadn't the pleasure of meeting Charles. Maybe she would now?
Kensi was still very much behaving...like a zombie....her drool seemed to be getting worse, if that was possible...she was going for that man...but he conveniently moved out the way! No matter! She just kept walking, away from the group...and towards the other side of the room, her arms outstretched.
The redhead was walking slow and as if she...couldn't exactly control it. She wasn't exactly...seeing...since her eyes were glazed and unfocused. There was a chair, pushed out from a table, and Kensi's foot caught onto it. She tripped, and fell, flat on her face. She looked mighty silly, laying there, sprawled out...but she wasn't moving. She continued to drool...but her eyes were closed...
She groaned a bit....but other than that, the redhead seemed to be quite still..and not there at all...
