It was all fun and games until someone started banging on her portrait.
The Fat Lady was only pretending to be asleep, trying her very best and even craning her ears slightly just to hear a little bit of some juicy gossip. It had seemed like ages since she and Violet had had something good to chat about. And it seemed like a few more ages were going to have to pass. There was nothing of interest said.
Her acting had never been good, and only when the little lioness Alexa stopped banging on her portrait, did she 'wake up'. The Fat Lady wiped the side of her mouth, just in case she had been drooling in her pretend sleep before raising her chubby arms above her head in a stretch. She blinked rapidly at the students, as if she was surprised to see them all there.
"Hello, my little lions! And you, snakes!" She was practically singing, despite the look of 'surprise' on her face. "Why wasn't I woken up?"
"Hello! Sarah said to the Fat Lady. Perhaps the fat lady was like Sarah, a dep sleeper that no noise could interupt her from her slumber. Maybe she should ask Alexa to be her alarm clock in the morning. Making sure Sarah gets up on time. Sarah slept through all kinds of noise.

Fixing his robes and sticking the broken reel into a robe pocket he strolled up to the group of lions and snakes worry visible in his eyes. "Is everyone all right? Nobody is hurt or injured?" Going up to inspect to inspect the Fat Lady's portrait he fired off a charming smile at the woman. "Good evening Mrs Fat Lady! Why are you not letting the tired lions into their common room?"
Finally an adult had come... the librarian
"Hello Sir, glad you came. I think all of us are alright! I think the charms in this place have gone wonky" Sarah said.

Her internal rant was prematurely ended when Sarah started talking something that actually made sense. "Oh yeah..." She said simply, stopping mid-pace. "I guess you might be right..." Though she would still check. When it came to her bestfriend she could never be too sure. Right, but until then. "Wow Sarah, thanks!" It was really nice of her to offer her chocolate frogs especially when she knew that she wouldn't have offered any. "But you can keep them. It just wouldn't be the same..." She eyed the chocolate frogs. "Okay maybe I'll have one. Just one." And no more...okay maybe two...
"And you know, you're right. No one in their right mind would touch my candy." Nod. Now she was only half worried.
Sarah was glad that she was able to calm her down and went into her bag and took out a chocolate frog. She was about to put it back when Alexa said that she did no want it, yet went to get it after Alexa wanted it "here enjoy". She was going to say that sugar was good for a person, yet she did not think it was good for Alexa!
Sarah then saw the gate keeper and when he asked if there was a problem she was going to say: understatement of the century.. yet she thought that that would be rude.

"I also like fishing! In fact the only fish I eat is the fish I caught myself and seasoned my self. Yet I have only tried trout so I don't know about other fish" Fishing with the family was awesome and the eating it that night was also awesome. "
Oh dear" Sarah exclaimed.
