New tablecloths, dish towels, and potato sacks to wear, maybe. Yes, yes that's what they needed. Anyway, the gift... she gasped as soon as she spotted the cookies, and it was a happy gasp too.
"Ohhhhhhhh!" the redhead breathed, picking up cookies and looking at the ones below it. They were all so DIFFERENT, and beautiful, and PINK! "I LOVE them," she gushed, breaking off the pink heel of one and bringing it to her mouth for a munchmunchmunch.
"Mmmmmmmmmm!" Delicious, too!
Holding her breath, Kurumi waited and watched as the Headmistress opened the box and examined her and the house elves' handy work. The Gryffindor's lips curled into a smile when she saw the woman's reaction and her posture relaxed just a little. "
I'm glad you like them, Headmistress," she beamed, bowing her head again politely. "
The house elves told me how much you liked pink which is why I went for a pink theme with the icing." They had actually said that the woman's entire office was pink - something that Kurumi had yet to see actually.
Just as Kurumi was about to speak more, the house ghosts appeared - and quite suddenly as well. Eyes widened just a bit, Kurumi figured now was a good a time as ever to take her leave. "
G-Good evening," she greeted each of them (Sir Nicholas got an especially wide smile though) and then turned her attention back to the Headmistress. "
I should be getting back to the ovens. I'll be sure to let the house elves know that you liked the cookies."
And with one more small bow she was off and making her way back towards the strong scent of gingerbread
and Lewis.
