She'd have to get Tasha to come around more because now they were back at work she was bound to get even busier. "Having fun?" And. It seemed that one of her husband's employee's was here. Izzy hadn't really talked to Dorian that much when she had worked up on level 2. "Hello Dorian." Quote:

When a man he didn't know approached (Dorian), Charles nodded to him politely. "Hello Mr. Tamerlane, Charles Taylor." Hopefully he'd help the poor woman who'd set him on fire. Quote:

Stationary equipment just didn’t like her it seemed. When her sister came over Tasha immediately engulfed her in a big. "Hi Izzy." They saw each other too little these days. Maybe they could remedy that soon with a sister’s only weekend somewhere? Wesley could manage the kids on his own for a few days, couldn’t he? "What? Oh, yes I am! I’m glad the ministry decided to hold this bonding extravaganza." Or feast depending how you viewed it. "Who did you persuade to babysit the twins?" Tasha wondered curiously. Had their mother pitched in? Quote:

No thoughts. Just walking forward, really...towards the man...Dorian...
Droooooool drool drool.
In fact, it seemed as if Natasha's waves had caught Isobel's attention, and Dorian had continued his conversation as the former Auror had made her way over to greet her sister. There wasn't any reason to interrupt, and it gave him time to just watch the room. Habit, even though it wasn't exactly his job. Ms. Whitworth really didn't look very good, but as expected, she was holding to her MLE strength and refusing help. Even as the tension seemed to be building while people just continued talking around the redhead. He was half-tempted to offer to speak to Wes for her, but before he could say anything, the others' attention was back on himself. "Isobel," he'd responded, as the Mysteries head had turned from her sister. "Things been going well outside of Ministry work?" He could have looked for Wes, and asked his friend and boss the same question, but it wasn't exactly a question one man asked of the other. Not when they worked on Level Two, and he'd turned toward the lone male of the group he had approached as he'd introduced himself with a nod. ""Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Taylor," he replied, glancing down at the melted shoes on his feet idly as he considered how formal an introduction was necessary. Things were definitely interesting over here, and he had a feeling he knew who had caused that little detail. Plus, so far they hadn't exchanged departments anyhow.
Until the Yeti watcher had introduced herself as well, and he turned his attention to the brunette. Leaving the response to Natasha's teasing reply to wait for the moment. "Well, with that information, I wouldn't expect a yeti to have taken you much by surprise if it had done anything odd, Ms. Wellington," he replied with a faint smile, taking the outstretched hand and shaking it gently. One would expect the head of Magical Creatures to know how to deal with creatures, after all. At least, she looked to be more than just a figurehead, and if she'd ventured off to Nepal on her own, it was likely that was a correct theory. And then he'd turned back to Natasha, expression taking on an amused yet outwardly concerned appearance at her words. At least she'd understood the joke. "So instead of the inkwell conspiracy staying contained, it's spread to include the stationery as well," he replied wryly. "Perhaps someone should look into that." Or not. Seeing as there were plenty of other cases to look into, even if de Talone had been apprehended.
Namely, the odd appearance of his colleague, as Ms. Whitworth had gone on the move again after her tirade at the others' concern. On the move after apparently taking offense at his holding back from joining the concern, as he had in fact heard the aborted sarcasm, even as he'd disregarded it for the time being. He held his ground at the shuffle towards him, though. Not even taking his wand out, although he sidestepped slightly as she had kept moving forward. "Perhaps we should take a trip over to see Wes," he said in a low voice, leaning forward so only she could hear. Not an escort, exactly. She obviously wasn't open to that wording, and he wasn't about to suggest asking for time off. Just a little trip over to the department head so they could consider their options. He didn't think the others would mind, although he was prepared to stun if necessary to avoid injury. Both to them and herself.
