No matter how pretty it looked, at the end of the day it was still just as flammable as anyone else's.

"Fine. I won't touch it, jeez." No need to start freaking out over a simple question.

Her mood started sinking even faster. Just to recap, she didn't want her writing her a letter, she didn't want her touching her hair and now she didn't even want the cookies that others had worked so hard she had worked so hard to bake. POUT. From the corner of her eyes she saw Seri giving her a weird look. She thought to ask her about it but then the girl started going on about those uncomfy chairs in Professor Lafay's office.

Wait--EEEWWWWWWW! She was agreeing with the Headmistress on the pink idea! Ick! Gross! Disgusting! Why would anyone want anything in PINK?! What stunned her even more was that the woman actually agreed!--No...she did more than that! The cheer came back to Lex's face as she listened to whatever it was the Headmistress was saying. By the time she was done Lex was grinning from ear to ear.

"Neat! Sounds fun--I'm definitely in!" As if she would pass this up. No way. Not when the Headmistress was the one giving the offer. Talk about a get out of jail free card. Mischief was her calling; she couldn't help it.

Wait- TRANSFORM LAFAY'S CHAIR?

Hahhahahahahahah.

Merlin this would be hilarious. OH GOOD MERLIN.

Seri smiled back at the Headmistress, and decided that she liked her. Finally they all agreed that the Potions mistress should learn to be nice. Seri had been in her office twice so far and been shouted at on both occasions, and she was in her house! So what was it like if you weren't a Slytherin?!

OH SERI WAS IN LOOOOVE. At first Lex gave her a funny look, and then she bothered to listen.

"Well Headmistress, I think we both agree to whatever plans you may have.. I think action should be taken." Seri said, struggling to keep a serious voice, but she wasn't laughing yet. She didn't know what the Headmistress had planned, but it HAD to be good. Thank Merlin the Headmistress didn't like Professor Lafay either.

Seri wondered if she should bring up the use of a whole cupful per student of animal blood in a lesson, or maybe the fact their dear Professor had neglected to offer her a beverage, as was customary.

Heheheheheheeh, of course they were in. The two girls were what, nothing more than two troublemakers for hire? And it took all Bunz had not to start laughing maniacally at her own cunning right then and there.

"So here's the plan," she leaned toward them, dropping her voice to a low, dark whisper and beckoning the girls closer. The Headmistress sketched it out in a soft but excited tone, making certain that they would all escape the scene of the prank scot free.

When she was finished, she straightened back up and gave both girls a knowing nod. "Think you can handle that?"

Everything was pink. It was blinding her eyes....but she LOVED it. Jen wanted to squeal in excitment. But no, it was a serious time. She was going to suck up to the head. And apparently her t-shirt was a good choice, what with the lady's obvious favorite colour and everything.

She put her large present (a giant pink teddy with "Best Headmistress" on it's lovely pink dress, wrapped in fine pink wrapping paper with a big pink bow) under the tree and her long letter in the box. Then Jennifer smirked and went to stand in the line to meet the woman.
Aww look at that, another little Slytherin with a little present... which actually looked to be larger than she was!

"Come on up, dear," the redhead called out to her, signalling forward with a grand wave of her hand. "And lovely shirt, by the way! That color looks GREAT on you!" Who didn't look good in pink though!

As she stood on the sparkling carpet, waiting her turn, she wondered what she was even going to ask her. She had told Daichi she would meet the Headmistress and try to get a read on her. He said that she'd been rather rude to him, but Eliza thought that seemed odd. She wasn't sure why the woman would become the Headmistress at all if she weren't equipped and happy to deal with children. She thought something else must have happened in their exchange that made her snap at him. All I can do is be myself and see what I think, she thought. Her thoughts still hung on the missing brooch and why it was so important to Truebridge. Does it have powers? she wondered. She doubted she could just come out and ask that though. She thought anyone who was that desperate for an item back had more reason than just "missing" it, for a castle wide search launch. Hmmm...tread carefully, she warned herself.

In the middle of her pondering, the few students in front of her cleared away, meaning it was her turn to speak. Oh gosh... She was a little nervous now. Not because she was speaking to the Headmistress, but because she wanted information and wasn't quite sure how to get it.

She approached the pink throne, which was all a bit much for her taste. She seriously hoped the woman hadn't dictated this set up for herself, because if she had it would be not just completely self-absorbed, but just plain weird too. She shrugged off the thought and introduced herself in a polite and friendly voice. "Hello Headmistress Truebridge," She thought about holding her hand out for her to shake it, but it seemed like a rather business like thing to do so she sort of half bow/nodded instead. "I'm Eliza Dawnsel." She starting clawing at the edges of her mind for something to ask her when the idea came to her, "I was wondering... Do you travel often? You know, go to beautiful, exciting new places?" She smiled, pleasantly surprised with her quick thinking. To be even more personable she added, "I would love to! But there are so many places I'm not sure where I'd go first." If she could get her to talk about her travels, maybe she could find more out about this special brooch.
"Hello, Miss.....Dawnsel," Truebridge picked up on the name with a polite nod, her nod warming into a smile when she saw the girl's curtsy. How proper! Anastasia certainly was sitting on a throne; no point in NOT being treated like a queen!

And then the questions came, although these ones seemed harmless enough, at least. "I DO travel often, and ALWAYS to beautiful, exciting new places!" she gushed to the girl. "Have you ever been to... Napal? Peru? Romania? Egypt?" Those were just a few of her favorites. "I got married in Napal, you know...." She wouldn't trade her mountain-top wedding for the WORLD, either.

Oh? She didn't recall the details?! PERFECT. ...but then, Sierra's face just sort of fell when the woman mentioned her walking away in tears. WHAT?! This woman was the Headmistress! Shouldn't she be pretending as if she never even heard that horrifying little detail?! Sierra's facial expression tightened, and she really wanted to just turn on her heels and storm off. "I see," though, was all she said.

That is, until her mother was brought into the conversation. How? ... Why? Didn't she realize how painful it was? Sierra swallowed a little limp in her throat then shook her head. "Better," she said, trying to convince herself of that, as well. "She should be good as new in no time." Or, that's what Sierra had been telling herself.

"Well, thank you for your time, Headmistress," she said. "I see you have a long line behind me."
Anastasia could see that her little conversational daggers had dug deep into Sierra's back, and she felt a warm rush of evil glee seep into her dark soul for saying them. Ah, how good it felt to be herself mean!

"I'm sure she will be," the redhead responded sarcastically warmly. "I'm sure she will be. Ta ta to you then, Sierra!" Whatever! Ha! Bunz had won THIS encounter for Tori!

She bowed her head a little, smirking like CRAZY, and the pink carpet caught her eye..."Pick is an awful clash with your hair, Headmistress," she said with a bit of an air of snobbiness...."You should really forgo any future use of this color..." she was stepping backwards, now, leaving before..

She got her head chopped off.

heheheh!

*snickers*
The redhead's eyes narrowed IMMEDIATELY as that uppity Ravenclaw skipped away. She had her wand halfway to her hand before she remembered that she wasn't supposed to cast on students... when their backs were to her.

Ah, such a shame. "Don't suppose Ravenclaw will notice what a clash you are with house points, though," she voiced aloud, talking more to herself than to the snob girl who knew NOTHING about colors. "Fifteen points for your rudeness." To start.

Know what, why stop there? Why not go AFTER the girl and MAKE her apologize?!

Spotting the Headmistress, she quickly floated towards her direction and without even waiting for a lull in the conversation, she floated through the students surrounding the pretty lady and hovered right in front of the woman.

"I'm very sorry to interrupt your moment, but the ghosts have an issue that we would like to discuss with you..." she said as she glanced around to all of the faces, "possibly out of the ear shot of the lovely students..." yes because she couldn't be trusted not to say mean and rude things about the entity causing all of the problems...
Anastasia was halfway out of her chair to chase after the Elliot girl when she was suddenly accosted by a floating apparation. She let out a soft scream before abruptly clapping her own hand across her mouth in recognition.

Oh thank Merlin, thank MERLIN it was just the Grey Lady and not something else!

The redhead felt her knees buckle under her as she sank back into her throne, without much choice of anywhere ELSE to go. "Yyyyes, ma'am...I... just tell me here?"

She at least had enough sense to cast a Muffliato around, not that many students were still in line anymore anyway...
