But then something Dacs said caused Layla to dropher own attitude and the disgusted face she was looking at the woman with. "You what?...you...you did?"

A frown replaced the shock expression on her face."Excuse me? What the hell? This is my father we're talking about! I'd be damned if i didn't care about the person who murdered him. Who...where?"

Ohter comment went ignored, she didn't care that wasn't important. And she especially didn't care that she turned to talk to someone else. She'd shoo the person away if she needed to.
