"So, uh...'' the Puffer begun cautiously as he absentmindedly hung Santa on the tree. "Have you seen Ari around?'' He wasn't sure if Gwen had gotten used to him and Ari being together as yet. He stood back and admired the tree. Even though it was still a work in progress, Jory thought it looked amazing.
"You did?'' he asked. “Which one? And more importantly, how was it? '' He was sort of glad she took his suggestion. Maybe she'd be open to read a few more?
Gwen just grinned at his remark.
‘Well… I’m not the only one’ Yes, the Hufflepuff seemed quite happy as well. Though, it was probably more obvious with Gwen, since she wasn’t usually smiling for so long. Whilst Jory… eh… smiling and being friendly was just screaming Hufflepuff. Heh.
‘Right’, she nodded, picking another decoration from the box and looking for a spot on the tree where to hang it.
And then…
…. the inevitable happened.
Jory just asked about Ari, making Gwen draw her attention away from the decoration she had just placed on one of the tree branches.
‘I ummm…’ Come on. He just asked if she had seen her around. Just that.
‘Well, yes, but I haven’t really talked to her’, she finally replied. She really missed spending time with Ari.
‘How about you?’ ‘Umm...’Where Are You Now’… It was the first book written by her that I could find’, Gwen said.
‘I really liked it’, she finished talking. Muggle books turned out to be quite interesting, and Gwen was glad she found out about some of them from Jory.
