Why did grown ups always do that? If the answer was 'no' then why'd they try to go around the bush about it. The Professor was a little hesitant in her answer and she didn't look like sunshine and daisies after she took a gulp. Put that together with the reaction of that Slytherin girl and you had a now
very sceptical 11 year old.
Lex stared at the Professor for a bit more before reluctantly walking over to the table and picking up a cup. She took a deep breath then downed everything in one go, gagging just a little as she did.
"Yuck! To think I wanted to drink this." She said, shooting an incredulous look at the surprizingly empty cup. It was good that it all went down the first time because there was no way she would have been willing to take a second gulp.
