She turned back to her own black pants and reverted them back to a plastic bag. Her pants weren't perfect, but she wanted to give her hula skirt a try before class ended. Now... the tricky part. What... did those course strands of material feel like? What was their heft and length and how did they drape?
Vivi closed her eyes and pictured the skirt, silly as it seemed. Ankle-length with a flowered belt. With a deep sigh, Vivi opened her eyes and pointed her wand at the mannequin to cast the spell once again. "Summitto Vestis," she murmured as she drew the inverted V. Once again, the plastic began to move, this time splitting into dozens and then dozens of dozens of individual strands.
The finished result was... hideous, and yet exactly what Vivi had imagined. She laughed a bit hysterically at the skirt and turned to gesture to Kurumi. Look at THIS nightmare. A few mannequins away, she caught sight of Vickers and his own creation.
"Beach party in the snow later, Vick?"
Kurumi was sort of laughing at her attempts now. Even she had to admit that it was a rather comical series of results she was producing and she just kept reminding herself that she hadn't set anything on fire nor had she burned anything, so that was already progress. Maybe she would be closer to producing first time results like Vivi had the next lesson, or even when they were assigned their homework.
"
Think I am going to need to transfigure a few more pants and simple skirts before I attempt what I think i want to do for my design," she laughed, sticking her tongue out somewhat playfully at Vivi.
And then Vivi had a hula skirt in front of her, but her attention was drawn to Vickers' when the blonde mentioned beach party. Swim trunks? "
Hey, looks like you two are going to the same place," she laughed. You know, hula skirt and Hawaiian print shorts. It made sense.
Reverting her silk pants back to their trash bag form and was about to give things another go when...

"Okay everyone, time is up! You've all done well from what I can see. The homework room will be opened later for you to do this part of your assignments," once she'd moved all the mannequins back in there, "but for now please feel free to gather your things and go. Have a good day!"
...class was dismissed.
She would have to save her next attempt for homework. Definitely going to start with getting the fabric right first before trying to make her skirt.
Packing her things up, Kurumi slung her bag over her shoulder. "
Have a good day, professor," Kurumi said as she began to make her way towards the door.
