Feeling uncomfortable, as usual, Ella stuffed her hands into her pockets and dragged herself along to the meet and greet thing. OH GOSH - this was awful. ALMOST as awful as her job title. Love Specialist.

Not to worry, it was a job, and something had to pay for her upcoming wedding. Oh yeah, she was planning on pushing the boat out to pay for this shabang! She came to a stop, hovering behind a small group of people and just picked at her nails, which she had actually painted for once.

Putting a smile on her face she walked into the room and headed to the pretty flowers and trees. Mariel stepped into the orientation area, green eyes landing on each person assembled there. Of course, she knew no one.. that fact certainly did not surprise her as she hadn't lived in Britain for some time, but it also didn't quell her anxiety. She had a touch of the first day jitters, a feeling which annoyed the young woman to no end. She knew she should be more confident than she was feeling, but the combination of starting a new job which she wasn't sure of her exact duties coupled with the fact that she knew no one made her somewhat uneasy. Well, if she couldn't feel confident, she would at least appear confident.
Plastering on a smile, Mariel walked over to the small crowd of people. Most of them were engaged in conversation and she'd rather wait for a lull before jumping in. She merely hung back, taking in her surroundings when she noticed two women who appeared to be doing the same. Walking a little closer, she addressed them both.
"Hello there.." she said somewhat awkwardly.
"First day?" Of course she was just guessing.. this was for all employees, not just new ones, right?
