Coming up from the kitchens with a fresh batch of tuna fish cookies for Walnut in her bag, Kurumi approached the portrait of the Fat Lady, uttered the password, and waited for her portrait to swing open so she could go through the tunnel as usual to the common room...only the portrait didn't move an inch.

"Why won't you open up?" she asked, tilting her head towards the Fat Lady and hoping for some sort of answer while taking a step forwards...only to find that her body was being repelled by some sort of force. WHAT?! Wait...WHAT!? Kurumi pressed forward again, only to find herself hitting an invisible wall once more. Could the Fat Lady even hear her?

Several thoughts went through her head at this moment...but one lingered the longest. Walnut...Walnut was still in the common room. Alone. Alone and with everyone's shoes.
