"He goes all out because Christmas was my mom's favorite."
Or at least, she'd been told as much.
She smiled at Milton and nodded, "Sure, why not?" There were quite a few other students doing it too, she was surprised there were still ornaments left to hang at all. "Here." Taryn picked one and held it out. "Levitate it up high!" The top needed decorated TOO.
Milton's eyes wandered up all the way to the top of the tree as Taryn spoke about her trees.
"I don't think we could get a tree this big to fit under our ceiling," he said with a small laugh. Maybe they could just... keep the tree outside. Because now he wanted a tree THAT big. Hmmm... Milton's train of thought stopped when Taryn mention her mom. He looked at her and smiled softly, taking her hand in his. He knew how hard it was for her to talk about her mom, so he felt rather... special.
"That's really nice."
When Taryn picked out an ornament, Milton got out his wand and pointed it at it.
"Wingardium Levisoa," he said and watched it float out of Taryn's hand. Then he levitated it waaay up high, almost to the top before placing it on a branch. With a satisfied smile, Milton put his wand back away.
"Perfect."
