Her eyes twinkled as he ran his finger down the spine of the sculpture. As soon as his finger hit the tail the charm kicked in. The tiny figurine stretched out it's neck and then moved it's little legs. Stretching out it's wing the dragon gave a little roar before taking wing. "He'll keep moving and flying around you until you say 'obsidian.' Then he'll go back onto his pedestal." It had taken forever for her to get the charm right but it was worth it. She couldn't wait to hear what Grandpa had to say about it. Her charm work was a piece of art if she did say so herself.
Oooh! It... flew! Ed stared at it and followed its movements with his eyes until the sculpture landed on his shoulder. "Heya little guy." He raised a finger to touch it gently and nodded at Nell's information about how to get it back to his pedestal. "He's so awesome! Thanks!" His eyes turned back to her as he beamed. This was, by far, one of the most awesome presents he'd ever gotten! And now he was going to go EVERYWHERE with him.
