"That's very interesting, Headmistress Truebridge," Kat had said while smiling. Really, Truebridge had a lot of ambition by her side which left Kat wondering she Truebridge was a Slytherin or probably a Ravenclaw when she was in her Hogwarts Years.
Then the Slytherin accepted the Headmistress' hand and shook it. "Thank you for your time, Headmistress." Really, she knew Truebridge was a busy woman but she found time to entertain her students. How kind of her, Kat thought. It was interesting, was it? "Well thank you, I suppose," the Headmistress returned politely. She quite liked THIS Slytherin, she did. She shook the girl's hand firmly and murmured a 'you're welcome.'
So not all the students at this school were horrible! Excellent. Quote:

"Actually, Headmistress, if you wouldn't mind," she said as she offered the box to the woman. "That way I can let the house elves know your reaction. They all would have come over with me if they could."
And hopefully Kurumi would have a positive reaction to tell them about. "Of course!" Annie took the box quite eagerly and started unwrapping. She knew how excitable and adorable the Hogwarts House Elves were. And after all their help with TRYING to find the brooch, she supposed she sort of owed them a Christmas gift too.
New tablecloths, dish towels, and potato sacks to wear, maybe. Yes, yes that's what they needed. Anyway, the gift... she gasped as soon as she spotted the cookies, and it was a happy gasp too.
"Ohhhhhhhh!" the redhead breathed, picking up cookies and looking at the ones below it. They were all so DIFFERENT, and beautiful, and PINK! "I LOVE them," she gushed, breaking off the pink heel of one and bringing it to her mouth for a munchmunchmunch.
"Mmmmmmmmmm!" Delicious, too! Quote:

Was it pink?" Olivia was ambitious to find this brooch, she took it upon herself to the be official brooch searcher. "It was a blue-green color, actually," the Headmistress replied in a soft, saddened tone. "Shaped like a silver flower....."
She would appreciate the girl looking out for it. Quote:

"Can i eat it?" he looked up again hopefully. "A FOOD REWARD?!" he suddenly squealed as if he suddenly understood what the word meant. "I'm going to search right now! Tinka told me how it looks like, Bye Meanie~! ...i-i-mean Headmistress!" and he quickly ran away from the pink throne. "Monetary means---" oh never mind, the boy wanted a food reward. Well that'd be considerably cheaper than a financial reward! "Yes, just that. A FOOD reward. A PERSONAL FEAST, just for you, Daichi, prepared by a real, live, Wizarding chef. All right?"
She nodded as the boy started leaving, her mouth popping open only briefly as he almost called her 'Meanie.' "Good bye, then..." Quote:

Well.
Elliot had passed judgment on this woman already..and she didn't like her. One bit. Hmph. "Oh? I thought this was a meet and greet...so..that's what I'm doing..." she cleared her throat a bit..."eh, meeting and greeting you," she smirked back, her tone casually sarcastic...
Merlin...what had gotten into her?!? Her lap looked comfortable?! Anastasia raised a quizzical eyebrow but didn't say much else, as this Ravenclaw was becoming....strange.
"Yes, it is a meet and greet. And now that we've met and exchanged greetings..." She held out her hand. "Fantastic meeting you. Ta ta for now, Ms. Morganzo."
Met and gret (?) done. Quote:

...and then her heart sank.
Tori Bunbury was still here, taunting her, despite the fact that the girl had moved to Beauxbaton's. "I...didn't realize your maiden name sooner," Sierra said. "It was only when Mrs. Cela Toussaint mentioned it in class that I started to make the connection." Sierra felt like the world around her might spin around at any given moment.
Tori Bunbury: 6 billion.
Sierra Greingoth: 0.
The girl had gotten the best of her this time, and with her cousin being the Headmistress, Sierra would never be able to catch up now. Was she the Sierra her cousin had mentioned? The one from Hogsmeade?! YES. But... "I don't know," she said. There was at least one small window of hope that there was some other Sierra out there. "What exactly happened on said encounter?" "Ah yes, Cela...." Annie smiled fondly at mention of the girl. "One of my best students, really, and her husband and brother-and-law..." She did adore that Plymouth Morgan, lil herbologist that he was.
As for Sierrra? And Tori? "Oh I don't recall all the finer details," the redhead waved her hand again, "but she said something about you leaving in tears." She put on a great big fake frown for Sierra. "Everything all right with your 'mother,' dear?"
How was she to know the Hogsmeade event had been a long, long time ago? Quote:

...She even said she was kind. Awww, the woman clearly knew all the right things to say; giving out compliments the way she was. Of course, Lex could give a compliment too. "Thank you and you look very prettiful tonight!--Can I touch your hair?" It looked prettiful too which translated to it being touchable. Alexa liked touchable stuff. It was so fasinating, even to the point where she just stood staring at her but then she mentioned the letter being for shy people. "Oh! So then I don't need it one bit." Nope. Being shy was a waste of time so she never bothered with it. She stopped for a minute, looking over at Seri and wondered whether she was going to say anything. Lex had never pegged her for the shy type either in fact she was positive that the girl had quite a mouth on her! Maybe she need a bit of time to collect herself.
In the mean time her eyes fell on the letters to the Headmistress. Even though the woman said it wasn't necessary she was beginning to feel a little left out--Oh wait!! Shoving her hand into her pocket she pulled a wrapper containing the cookies the others she had baked. "You can have a cookie...two if you want." BEAAAAAM. "Thank you," Anastasia replied slowly, carefully, still eying the Gryffindor like she was going to throw green slime all over her. She shook her head promptly at Alexa's question, too. "No. No no no no. No thank you, my hair is just fine without your... needing to touch it."
Nooooooooooooooooo way.
She continued shaking her head, albeit with a polite smile, at the girl's offer of a letter and cookies and the like. "No thank you, Alexa... dear..... I have cookies of my own. A gift from the House Elves." She pointed to the tin beside her chair. Quote:

Wait... was Lex... was she... SUCKING UP TO HER?
NOOO LEX NOOOOO!
What was her reasoning? Seri narrowed her eyes at Lex and raised an eyebrow...
Seri did have a letter for her, though she didn't need to open it now, besides, she could safely shove it into the box. So she slipped it in and shrugged at her headmistress, "Just a little letter for you Miss... So nice to meet you at last." Seri said, though not extending a hand to shake. Seri had been under the impression she would deliver a letter and run off. Apparently not.
Seri was still suspicious about Mrs Headmistress. She had sent Lex off somewhere. Though she did have a cool chair. Nice and pink. Wait. An idea. "Headmistress, I was thinking... for Christmas, perhaps we could ask Professor Lafay to purchase a comfier chair for her guests to sit on. The last time I was in her office I thought the chair was SO uncomfy. Maybe she'd like something pink... like yours but NOWHERE near as grand or special, because only you deserve that." Seri finished. She didn't mind sucking up if it would annoy her Head of House. Seri would have none of this 'House Pride' nonsense. Plus she did not like Lafay AT ALL, and she didn't think Lafay and the Headmistress were on very good terms either. She smirked at the thought of Lafay and a pink chair. Oh would she love to see her face if it ever happened. Ah, and so the troublemaker's friend COULD speak! Fascinating. "Thank you for the letter," the Headmistress nodded first. Then she listened to the girl, one eyebrow raised all the while, and at the end of her speech, Anastasia found herself smirking.
"You know," she thought about a way to phrase this, "having been a recent visitor to Professor Lafay's office, I can CERTAINLY see where you're coming from with this request. I don't think we need to ask Lafay's permission to replace the chairs, however."
She winked at the girl. "I think we could simply use a bit of magic on those ugly, uncomfortable chairs, no? And we could give her a sample of what it feels like to sit on something so ugly and uncomfortable by transforming HER desk chair. What do you two say?"
Her eyes flicked toward Lex, briefly, because she had an inkling of what SHE would say....
