Even if was simply the sun or the moon or the stars..... which were vastly more intriguing than people-watching. People watching got annoying after awhile because they tended to do the same stupid things over and over again. Entirely overrated.

It wasn't until a moment later, when steaming pizza was delivered to their table, when he realized there was silence. And perhaps she had been waiting for him to speak.

"Yes," he forced a smile. "Always something to look at. And if you look just right, no one ever suspects it." Or maybe it was that no one ever suspected the Hufflepuff, but same thing, right?
Italy was such a lovely city. It made it so easy for just about anyone to get lost in all it's beauty, completely forgetting for a moment where one truly was. At the moment she was grabbing some pizza with Dominic; something she actively needed to keep in mind. "I suppose..." She mused. He had a point there. For someone like her an aisle seat would have been torture.

She gave a smile to the waitress who dropped off the pizza before watching her walk off. A silence settled at the table as she waited for him to respond to her earlier statement. She snickered a bit when he gave his take on the whole thing. It almost sounded like he'd done his fair share of people-watching. Interesting.

Dia reached over and took a slice of the pizza to start working on. She munched on it silently for a moment, wondering whether to ask a question she should have asked sooner but didn't. For a moment she simply sat gazing at the only slightly eaten slice, almost like it was a puzzle she was trying to figure out.

Then her gaze turned to Dominic. "Can I ask you something?" Because she was beginning to feel a little guilty.
