Almost.
’You?’, the fifth year eventually asked Jory. ‘By the way...', she started saying, remembering that she wanted to tell him something- 'I’ve read one of the muggle books you suggested...’, the girl mused while picking another ornament from the box, then drawing her attention back to Jory, she added: ‘Loved it’ Indeed, the book written by Mary Higgins Clark was now one of her favourites.
Smirk.
"You've got the Christmas spirit,'' Jory said with a grin. He also was in a better mood than usual. The tree and the decorations made him feel like a child again.
"I'm just great,'' replied the over happy boy.
"Cool decorations, huh?'' he commented as he examined a mini Santa Claus from the box next to Gwen.
"So, uh...'' the Puffer begun cautiously as he absentmindedly hung Santa on the tree.
"Have you seen Ari around?'' He wasn't sure if Gwen had gotten used to him and Ari being together as yet. He stood back and admired the tree. Even though it was still a work in progress, Jory thought it looked amazing.
"You did?'' he asked.
“Which one? And more importantly, how was it? '' He was sort of glad she took his suggestion. Maybe she'd be open to read a few more?
