She then raised an eyebrow..."Do what you want, Ethan. It's YOUR love life...but.." she smirked, thinking she knew what this was about..."If you're thinking of Minnie..she's...crazy. She dated Maxwell, you know," her smirk faded. Hmph. "But if you want to be interested in a lunatic puffer...that's YOUR problem...not mine," she said, backing off a bit. Just because she didn't want a ticked off Ethan on her hands...
Though it was amusing her. Maybe she would tick him off another day...see what happens.
Poor bloke.
Ethan watched Elliot carefully as he took a couple deep breaths. He was starting to calm down a bit.. but he was fairly certain that she was now going to aim a couple hexes his way after his little tirade. The boys eyes traveled from the girl's wand arm to her face.. wait, was she amused? He blinked a few times.. okay, maybe he overreacted. And now he felt bad. But only just a little.
"Fair enough.." he started.
"But I thought I was your friend too.." Yeah, he got that it was different when it came to girls.. but he was still somewhat hurt that she felt the need to resort to the words that were said.
Shrugging that pesky little feeling away, Ethan tilted his head slightly to look at Elliot as she spoke. Minnie, hm? If the boy was honest with himself, he'd admit that his mind had gone there.. Was that what Elliot was worried about? That if he went out with Cora and someone else caught his eye that she would be hurt? That was the very reason he did not want to jump into anything.. because he wasn't sure. What was the harm in finding out who he wanted to spend time with? Eh.. and now this conversation had left him as confused as ever. He didn't want to have to pick just one.. at least not yet.
Ethan let out a small laugh of derision.
"Yeah, I know all about her and Maxwell..." Including his apparent jealousy and he rolled his eyes at the thought.
"She's not a lunatic," he said softly as he looked down at a spot on the ground and let out a sigh.
"I just wish you two could get along," he added with a look back up at her.
And now he felt all weird.. and awkward..
again. Eh..
