Well he was kinda expecting she would decline, but the worry was still on his face. He's been around Healers and hospitals quite a few times thanks to his Uncle, and looking at Lafay's physical state-- she should be
there, with minimal stress, getting better.
He sighed inwardly as he settled into his usual table and prepped his potions and lecture taking materials. At the close of the door he looked up. Class was starting.
He raised his hand at her question
"Truth serums compel the person who takes it to answer questions truthfully.. hence the name. Although truth serums have varying degrees of effectivity. It is said that Veritaserum is the most potent truth serum."
